The colleges that provide the BBS program employ teaching approaches that assist educate students for the reality of working in Nepalese business, industry, and government. Learning will be accomplished through a combination of lectures, group discussions, problem-solving exercises, guest lectures, practical practice, and fieldwork. When appropriate, campuses are also encouraged to employ the case method of education.
Objective
To establish a general management perspective in students, provide them with the needed conceptual knowledge of business and administration.
To develop in students the necessary attitudes, talents, and practical skills that will serve as a foundation for their development as competent and responsible company managers.
To encourage students to develop entrepreneurial skills so that they may be successful change agents in Nepalese society.
To develop the required basis for advanced management courses, and then pursue professions in teaching, research, and consulting.
Graduation Requirements
The BBS curriculum takes three academic years to complete, and upon completion, a BBS degree is issued. The following prerequisites must be met by all BBS candidates:
Obtaining a total of 2000 points as required, with passing grades in all classes.
The passing scores attained in each of the course’s conceptual and practical components separately.
Courses for the completion of the BBS program must be completed within the time limit set by Tribhuvan University.
