Prithvi Narayan Campus

About:

Prithvi Narayan Campus was established in 1960, in Pokhara City. It was established, in the name of Prithvi Narayan Inter College providing secondary education to the Local Community. The first program of the College launched at that time was the Bachelor of Arts of Tribhuvan University. Then under the New Education Plan System, the College became one of the Constituent Campuses of Tribhuvan University. To date, it has many Faculties and Academic programs with 29 faculties of four departments, 642 Faculty Members, 122 Administrative staff, and more than 11000 students in various academic programs on the Campus. It is also a lead Campus among others selected by a World Bank Project, National Education Commission in 1993. 

One of the academic programs among many is the Bachelor of Business Studies designed by the Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University. The teachers who are experienced and well qualified for teaching are deployed by the Faculty of Management at Prithvi Narayan Campus under Departments such as General Management, Sectoral Management, Accounts, Finance, Marketing, and Research Management who cover the curriculum of BBS at this Campus with classroom lectures, report writing, presentation, and field report, case studies combining theory and practical knowledge together.

The Governing Body is under the Chairperson of the Management Committee, executive Committees who assign responsibilities to the Campus Chief for overall supervision, monitoring, and evaluation of administrative staff of Prithvi Narayan Campus.

It is one of the largest and leading Community Campuses among the pack in Pokhara. It provides the following facilities for students for their academic growth:

Prithvi Narayan Campus was awarded as “The Best Campus of the year” in 2018 by the Ministry of Education, Nepal.
