About:

Orchid International College can be found in Bijaya Chowk, Gaushala Kathmandu. It is affiliated with the Tribhuvan University of Nepal. It is an academic institution that was founded by academicians, computer Engineers, and Management professionals. It prepares students with a broad knowledge of the Management and Computing Fields. The Faculty Members of Orchid International College are full-time faculty members appointed in different areas of their specialization subjects along with visiting faculty and the Research and Development team.

Eligibility criteria:

To study Bachelor of Business Studies students must have a minimum of seventy percent attendance of the classes actually held. For graduation, students must complete courses that sum up to 2000 marks with passing grades in all subjects including theory and practical subjects. All courses must be completed within the prescribed time stated by Tribhuvan University.

Examinations and Evaluations:

Students of Orchid International College are evaluated internally by the Faculty members and externally in the exams conducted by Tribhuvan University. They are also evaluated based on their learning outcome, tests, fieldwork, group participation, academic performance, presentations, and attendance by the Faculty of the College. In the annual exams, the evaluation will be based on grading systems such as:

Distinction 75 percent and above

First Division: 60 percent and above

Second division: 45 percent

Third Division: 35 Percent 

Internship:

The internship is an integral part of the learning process that helps students to put their knowledge into skills from real-life jobs and problems underlying in Business and Management functions of an organization.
