About:
NIMS College was established in 2007 and it is situated in Kanibaha, Lagankhel Lalitpur. The Founders of NIMS College were academicians and community leaders and it was in November 2018 under the New Management system of reputed professionals in fields of research and education internationally in the US, Australia, USA, and European Countries took charge to transform NIMS into an international level of education inside Lalitpur. NIMS offers numerous undergraduate and postgraduate courses under the oldest Tribhuvan University of Nepal. The academic programs NIMS offers to students are Bachelor of Business Studies, Bachelor of Computer Application, Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Business Studies, and Master of Arts in Sociology.
The objective of NIMS College:
The principal objective of NIMS College is to deliver international quality education in the area of Management, Business Studies, Information technology, and Social Science and become the Center of Excellence in higher education in Nepal. Its strategic objectives are also well aligned with its core objectives which include strengthening College Management systems and existing programs, strengthening College infrastructure, developing pathways for education in Australian Colleges and Universities, developing its infrastructure outside Kathmandu valley, and obtaining affiliations to new degree programs recognized by Nepal Government.
Eligibility criteria:
The eligibility criteria for studying the BBS program at NIMS College are to successfully complete all 19 courses of 1950 marks of four years program and submit final project work of 50 marks with all passing grades in each program in practical and theory components. It must be timely completed within the prescribed period by T.U. Those who are applying to study BBS in NIMS must have:
Completed Plus2 in Business/Commerce or equivalent course from HSEB or T.U. recognized board and studied English as a full paper, secured minimum marks at Plus2 or equivalent program as prescribed by Board or Faculty, and met all entry criteria for successful admission by NIMS College.

Examination and evaluation
Students are assessed and evaluated on their assignments, internal and external exams, project works, participation and interaction, and short course training, by NIMS College and Tribhuvan University.
Internship
In BBS, students have to undergo final project work where they have to take fieldwork and spend four weeks studying and learning from the organization during the time fixed by NIMS College to each student. Then students have to write a project report based on their fieldwork and submit it to the Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University to make a final evaluation.
