Global College of Management(GCM), affiliated with Tribhuvan University ((TU), runs Bachelor of Business Studies. As the title indicates, Global College of Management is one of the finest colleges for students who is interested in pursuing a career in management. Higher secondary, undergraduate, and graduate degree programs are available at Global College of Management. In higher secondary programs GCM offers Plus(+2) Management, plus(+2) Science, and Cambridge A-level . Whereas, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Business Studies(BBS), Bachelor of Hotel Management(BHM), Bachelor of Travel and Tourism(BTTM) are undergraduate degrees, and Masters of Business Administration(MBA), Master of Business Studies(MBS) and MBA evening are graduate degrees available at GCM.

It is located at Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu. In addition to academics, the college offers extracurricular activities such as presentation competitions, practical accounting training, career counseling, case analysis competitions, book making competitions, report writing, and many others. GCM also has a library, a cafeteria, transportation, an auditorium, a computer lab, a research center, a reading longue, and a digital resource point.

Objective of BBS

  1. To provide students with necessary business and administration conceptual understanding so that they can create a general management viewpoint.
  2. Inspire in students the needed attitude, talents, and practical skills, which will serve as a foundation for their developments as concept and responsible company managers.
  3. Encourage students to develop entrepreneurial skills so that they may be successful change agents in Nepalese society.
  4. Gain the necessary background for advanced management studies and subsequent employment in teaching, research, and consulting.

Eligibility

  • Students must have completed +2 level or PCL with at least D+ in every subject or at least second division
  • Students must have studied English at secondary level.

Admission

  • Eligible students should compete the college’s application form and submit it to college’s administration.
  • Candidates must take the college’s College Admission Test (CAT) as scheduled.
  • The test consists of questions on verbal ability, numeric ability, business and economics, logical reasoning, and general knowledge, and it is worth a total of 100 points.
  • Each candidate is invited to an interview after passing the admission exam
  • The final result of successful candidates for admission is releases on the basis of the weighted average of the CAT, admission discussion, and NEB/+2 marks.
