Purbanchal University is situated in Morang, Nepal. It was founded in 1993 by the Government of Nepal with the objectives of refining, preserving, inventing, adapting, and extending broad knowledge transmission for the development of rural peoples’ environments and economies. This University has constituent Campuses and affiliated Colleges in Nepal both public and private. It offers a variety of academic programs for higher studies from Faculties of Management, Medical, and Allied Sciences, Engineering, Science and Technology, Education, Arts, and Law. The Chancellor of this University is the current Prime Minister Mr. Sher Bahadur Deuba and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Yadav Raj Koirala. There are 35000 students studying at constituent and affiliated colleges of this University in Nepal.
