About:

Birgunj Public College is situated in Panitanki, Birgunj. It is affiliated with Tribhuvan University and Purbanchal University also. It is driven by devoted faculty members, a Management Committee, and operative administrative staff to produce quality human resources and become a center of Excellence in offering holistic education in the area of Birgunj which is known to be an industrial state of Nepal. The Executive Chairman of Birgunj Campus is Prof. Dr. Deepak Shakya and Campus Chief Mr. Binay Shrestha. It has received accreditation from the International Standards Organization.

Birgunj Public College runs Plus2, BBS, BBA, BIM, MBS, and MBA programs of HSEB, Tribhuvan, and Purbanchal Universities.

Eligibility:

Bachelor of Business Studies is a four years academic program of Birgunj public College. To become eligible for studies students should have completed Plus 2 from the Higher Secondary Education Board or any other recognized by T.U. They must appear for entrance exams and pass all papers in Plus 2 to qualify for studying in the BBS program at Birgunj public College.

Teaching Methods:

Teaching Pedagogy involves classroom lectures, case studies, guest lectures, group discussions, field visits, research work, term papers, presentations, group discussions, class works, and home assignments.

Examination and evaluation: 

Based on teaching methods students will be evaluated individually in internal tests, quizzes, project work, and class participation and externally by the semester/yearly exam by T.U and P.U. Most outstanding students also get scholarships from the Management Committee.
