Bagmati College was established in 1996 and is located in Sukedhara Kathmandu. It was envisioned by University Professors and lecturers to provide educational excellence, character development, and service to nations and communities. It runs academic programs namely Plus2 programs in Science, Management, Humanities, and Law streams and the Bachelor of Business Studies program of the Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University. It has full-time and part-time teaching faculties and facilities such as Science, Computer Labs, Computer Education with Wi-Fi and internet facilities, scholarship schemes for SEE exams, entrance toppers and exam toppers, hostel facilities, cafeteria, and extra tutorial classes. Students apart from classroom lectures, presentations, case discussions, and field visits also can take part in extracurricular activities and sports events organized by Bagmati College.
Bagmati College has appointed a teaching Faculty subject-wise for their all programs. In BBS which is a four years program, students will learn different topics from well versed and experienced teachers with subjects like Business English, Accountancy and taxation, Finance/Investment, Business Statistics, Business Economics, Finance, Project Management, Business Environment, Business Law, Project Research, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Entrepreneurship. The Principal of Bagmati College is Mr. Naran Sitaula and Chairman Dr. Surendra Sitaula.
