What are the curricular structure?

In the overall academic pattern, the FoM emphasizes the importance of both breadth and depth. As a result, the BBS degree program consists of four distinct course components:

  • To equip graduates to learn, evaluate, and comprehend management concepts, theories, and practices, a strong foundation in allied business fields such as language, economic analysis, legal environment, quantitative methods, and research methodologies is required.
  • Core business courses include and integrate all functional areas to provide graduates a better understanding of the diversity and interdependence of business and management challenges.
  • The ability to focus on one area of specialty, such as accounting, finance, human resources management, management science, or marketing, to give graduates with functional competence.

What are the minimum general requirements for 4-years?

  1. A minimum of 150 teaching days shall be included in each academic year, excluding days used for admission and yearly exams.
  2. In a typical academic year, there will be 615 instructional hours (150 days x 4:10 hours a day). Additional hours of study will be necessary for courses that require field and practical practice.
  3. Each teaching day will include a minimum of five periods (i.e. class hours). This minimum class requirement will also apply to schools that operate in the morning or evening shifts.

What is the evaluation system?

The yearly test administered by the Office of the Controller of Examinations at Tribhuvan University serves as the final assessment of students. Students must, however, satisfy the following criteria in order to be eligible to take the yearly exams:
(a) The student must attend at least 70% of the classes that are actually held.
(a) No student will be permitted to sit for the second-year final exams without first passing the first-year final exams.
